How long is the AI internship?
The structured internship runs 8–12 weeks — sprints, code reviews and demos, working as a junior engineer rather than a trainee. It follows the build phase of your program.
Do I get an internship certificate and letter of recommendation?
Yes. Every intern graduates with an internship certificate, a letter of recommendation, project references and shipped work on their GitHub.
Can CSE, IT and other engineering students in Pondicherry apply?
Yes — students from any branch (CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Civil) can apply. You can enter through any AGS program, or apply directly if you already have a portfolio.
Is the internship free? Do I pay separately for it?
There is no separate internship fee — the internship is built into the Professional AI Engineer and AI Startup Builder programs, and every student on those tracks is guaranteed a place on it.
What kind of work do interns actually do?
Real engineering work across four sources: internal products, live client projects, open source and incubation-track startups — RAG pipelines, AI agents, automation and full-stack features, with standups and code review.
